Abstract :

This Work group is dedicated to the study of Optimally Transported Schemes. These methods shares the same spirit than Method of lines : the basic idea is to compute a solution using a moving unstructured mesh, a mesh owning some good repartition property.

Although a little bit more technicals (these methods relies heavily over Optimal Transport Theory considerations), the "Optimally Transported Methods" seems to able to adress problems that the Method of lines can not : unbounded domains, discontinuous Front tracking methods.
